We welcome written submissions from journalists, academics, essayists, poets, students, writers, activists, citizen journalists, and anyone else with something to share. We are most interested in journalistic pieces highlighting new issues or presenting original angles, but we accept essays, political satire, book reviews, poetry and letters. We also consider blog posts. All written submissions are edited, and all content is fully credited and published under copyleft.
The newspaper appears on a monthly schedule and includes recurring features as well as issue-specific spreads. Unfortunately, we cannot publish everything we receive or guarantee to publish an article by a specific date. In addition to the printed newspaper, we regularly post news stories to our website as well, and welcome written updates on news, events, demonstrations, et cetera. We encourage you to pitch your ideas for pieces to us via this form, or to send us completed articles via the form below.
